A lovely Saturday afternoon spent with my family enjoying the warm weather and a lovely glass of local made wine. We discovered The Rolling Grape Vineyard on one of our many weekend driving trips. Sometimes we just like to drive and discover something new.
We were able to get a nice table with an umbrella on the patio. We enjoyed a charcuterie board (one of the best I’ve ever had), and wood fired pizza. Everything was delicious and fresh. There was even live music and the rolling vineyard hills were a beautiful setting.
We all have agreed that it would be a lovely place to make a return visit to, when the sun is setting.
Local is awesome!
Such a simple phrase, “do what you love.” What a great reminder to follow your heart and commit to what you’re passionate about.
Using this mug makes me so happy. It brings a smile to my face. It makes me pause and think yes, I am doing what I love. I surround myself with people I love and I try to do things in my days with intention and all my heart.
This mug was purchased from Gather, located in downtown Bowmanville, Ontario. Gather is a lovely, well curated store whose motto is, “we love to gather good things for you .. clothes. jewellery. baby things. home things. happy things.” No matter when I go to this store I always come home with a treasure.
So, as I enjoy my fancy drink from my mug, I want to remind you to try new things, take up a new sport, read a new genre of book, take a hike on a new trail. Do something that brings you joy and puts a smile on your face. I challenge you to do something that you love today!
Enjoying a latte in Griffintown, Montreal, snowflakes falling, frigid temperatures, but my heart is full ❄️
I find inspiration all around me. I am interested in a wide variety of things; flowers, gardening, reading, woodworking, crafting, decorating, and the list goes on.
In doing this blog I have realized that things can be simple as long as they are done with intent. What could be better than living with intention?
While on a road trip to Prince Edward County we were enjoying the scenery and driving along. My husband had reached for his coffee that we had made at home. He commented that it was a really good cup of coffee. My daughter replied, “It’s good because it was made by mum!”
That’s how the concept of this blog was created. Simply driving along on one of our adventures and suddenly a random phrase stuck. Immediately we all said, “that is a great name for a blog!” and so it begins…
